Horse riding lessons

Our qualified instructors provide lessons for all levels, including those with learning disabilities. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, you’ll feel welcome and supported in our safe environment.

Horse riding therapy

Our sessions provide an enriching experience for people with learning and physical disabilities. Participants improve motor skills, strength, balance, and confidence.

Rangers Café

Take a break and enjoy a delicious meal or snack at Rangers Café. Our café offers hearty breakfasts, tasty lunches, and freshly baked cakes, made by those who participate in our day services.

Our farmyard-themed soft play area is perfect for young children looking to explore and have fun. Toddlers can crawl, climb, and slide in a stimulating environment.

Dales Farm

Join us for a fun-filled time, where your family can meet friendly animals, enjoy the nature trail, and play on the jumping pillow, go-karts, and sandpit. There’s so much to explore.

Travel information

We are easily accessible via public transport. The number 700 Stagecoach South bus stops at Ferring War Memorial, just a 500m/0.3 mile walk from the centre. Goring-by-Sea train station is just over a mile away.

We offer free, on-site parking with plenty of space available.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in Rangers Café and our garden centre. However, no dogs are to be taken into the riding school or Dales Farm. 
Please note that we are a no smoking or vaping site, including in our car park.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to book in advance to visit Dales Farm or Rangers Café?
You do not need to book to visit Dales Farm or Rangers Café. However, pre-booking is required for afternoon tea, and we would recommend booking your soft play session to ensure the time slot is available.

Yes, carers can visit Dales Farm free of charge with valid ID. For group visits, please contact us to discuss special rates and arrangements.

Absolutely. At our activity centre, we offer private play sessions in the soft play area, our outdoor play area is accessible, and our horse riding therapy sessions are designed for all abilities. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or information.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in our designated outdoor areas. We only allow food bought from our Rangers Café to be consumed in the café and its terraces – we do make an exception for young toddlers, if their parent/guardian has made a purchase.

Yes, we have a fantastic farmyard-themed soft play area for children 107cm or shorter. We also have a variety of outdoor play areas at Dales Farm.
