Join our Wildlife workshop this may half term
On Thursday 28th May, from 10:30am–12:30pm, we are excited to bring back The Animal Care Series with Episode 2: Caring for Our Wildlife in partnership with Wadars Animal Rescue Charity.
This fun and educational Children’s Wildlife Workshop is perfect for children aged 5–10 years old.
Our action-packed 2-hour session will be filled with hands-on activities, games, and wildlife discoveries designed to inspire young nature lovers. Activities include:
- Wildlife Myth Busting
- Wildlife Quiz – “What should you do if you find wildlife in trouble?”
- All About Hedgehogs
- Make Your Own Bird Feeder
- Nest Building
- Wildlife Treasure Hunt
Children will learn all about British wildlife while getting creative and having fun outdoors. Each child will also get to take home their handmade bird feeder after the workshop.
Please note: Parents/guardians will be required to sign a disclaimer form before their child can take part in the workshop. Printed copies will be available to sign at the Pavilion on the day. If you would prefer to read and sign the form in advance, you can find it here.
This workshop is free with the purchase of a Dales Farm Pass. However, as the session is being delivered by Wadars, a minimum donation of £2 per child is recommended to support their time, effort, and ongoing wildlife rescue work. Donations can be given directly to the Wadars team on the day.
