Alpaca Appeal

We're so excited to welcome two new alpacas to Dales Farm!

Meet Basil (Brown) and Ziggy (Appaloosa), two curious boys who have travelled all the way from Kent to join our growing herd. At just two years old, they're already settling in brilliantly.

You may notice they look a little different to our other alpacas, Gin and Liquorice. That's because Gin and Liquorice are Suri alpacas, while Basil and Ziggy are Huacaya (pronounced wah-kai-uh) alpacas, a breed that originated in Peru.

To celebrate Basil and Ziggy's arrival, we're launching our Alpaca Appeal.

Whether you can give £1 or £10, every donation helps us continue providing the very best care for our animals while welcoming new residents to Dales Farm for everyone to enjoy.

Every day, our Day Service customers work alongside our farm team in a variety of Farm Pods, helping to feed the animals, care for their enclosures and learn what goes into looking after a farm. These hands-on experiences help build confidence, develop practical skills and create meaningful opportunities to learn in a supportive environment.
