Be A Keeper for the Day!

Step behind the scenes at Ferring Country Centre and experience a morning in the life of our farm team.

Our Adult Keeper for the Day experience offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on with daily farm life, working alongside our staff to care for our animals and land. From preparing feed and feeding the animals, to bringing in our ponies from the field, grooming them and cleaning their feet, and helping maintain enclosures—this is a truly immersive and rewarding experience.

Set within our beautiful countryside, the experience is designed to be both meaningful and enjoyable—whether you’re looking to try something new, spend time outdoors, or connect more deeply with animals and nature.

Your experience also includes an exclusive Ferring Country Centre Keeper t-shirt to take home, along with a 10% café voucher to enjoy after your session.

🐐 What You’ll Do

• Prepare animal feed and feed the animals
• Bring ponies in from the field
• Groom ponies and clean their feet
• Help clean and maintain enclosures

⏰ Session Details

• Time: 9:15am – 12:30pm
• Price: £95 per person
• Group size: Maximum of 4 adults
• Age: 16+

⚠️ Important Information

• Please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for farm work
• The experience involves walking and uneven terrain
• SEND participants are very welcome, and carers are free (ID badge must be shown)
• Spectators must purchase a standard farm entry ticket
• We will contact you ahead of your visit to confirm your t-shirt size
