Joining together to create more

In October, we’ll be inviting our partners and supporters to join us in a creative community challenge — building 40 scarecrows to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Together, we’ll design and create scarecrows that reflect our history, our services and the people who make our organisation so special.

These scarecrows will proudly take part in the local village scarecrow festival, showcasing our anniversary in a fun and imaginative way. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together, spark creativity and celebrate 40 years of support with colour, character and a strong sense of togetherness.

WALKING TOGETHER — ONE STEP OF COURAGE AT A TIME

This October, we’re inviting our community, supporters and friends to take part in a truly unforgettable challenge — the Ferring Fire Walk.

Participants will walk barefoot across glowing embers, not as a test of strength, but as a powerful act of courage, trust and determination. With full guidance and support from trained instructors, each walker will be prepared every step of the way as they take on something they may never have imagined possible.

Every step taken across the coals represents more than a personal achievement. It symbolises resilience, confidence and the incredible things people can accomplish when they feel supported.

By taking part, you won’t just be challenging yourself — you’ll be helping Ferring Country Centre continue its vital work supporting people with learning disabilities, creating opportunities, building confidence and providing a place where everyone feels valued and included.

Whether you walk, cheer from the sidelines, or sponsor a participant, you’ll be helping us turn courage into opportunity.

We’re open to the general public daily:
Monday to Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm  Sunday and Bank Holidays 10:00am - 4:00pm
