Farm-themed soft play
Our soft play area in Rangers Café is perfect for younger children, offering a fun and interactive environment where imaginations can run wild. Designed for those under 107cm, it’s a safe and secure space where little ones can climb, jump, and explore to their heart’s content.
Dales Farm
Follow our nature trail and meet a variety of animals, from fluffy rabbits to friendly ponies, alpacas, and pigs. With a jumping pillow, sandpit, go-karts, and play areas, there’s never a dull moment. Your little ones will have the chance to get up close to their favourite animals and enjoy plenty of outdoor fun.
Pony rides and stable fun
The perfect place for those who love horses. Our experienced staff will guide the group through a fun and safe riding experience. In addition to riding, children will have the chance to meet, groom, and learn about the care of our gentle ponies, building a special connection with the animals.

Piglet Party – perfect for toddlers
£12.50 per child
Let your little ones dive into a day of fun and adventure with our Piglet Party package, specially designed for our tiniest guests who are under 107cm tall. Whether it’s climbing through the soft play area or visiting our adorable animals at Dales Farm, this party is guaranteed to put smiles on faces.
What’s included?
- Reserved party area: Your party table in our Rangers Café will be decorated with colourful partyware and a tablecloth and ready for you from 2pm (Monday-Saturday) and 1.30pm (Sunday). Feel free to bring your own birthday cake and decorations to make it extra special. All we ask is that decorations aren’t noisy or leave a mess.
- Exclusive soft play time: Let your piglets loose in our air-conditioned, farm-themed soft play area. Between 2pm and 3pm, it's exclusively theirs to explore.
- Dales Farm fun: Say hello to our friendly farm animals.
- Outdoor play: Your party guests can burn off some extra energy in our inclusive outdoor play area.
- Toddler tea party: After all that fun, a delicious toddler-friendly tea party will be served at approximately 3pm with bite-sized snacks for little appetites. These will include vegetable sticks, mini sandwiches, crisps, party rings (or similar), and squash.
Who can join?
- A Piglet Party can be booked for any day of the week, subject to availability.
- A minimum of five children and a maximum of 10 children (under 107cm tall) for the soft play area. Taller siblings are welcome to join the farm and outdoor fun, but won't be able to use the soft play.
- One adult (aged 16+) per paying child gets free entry to Dales Farm and the outdoor play area, with an extra two adults free for the birthday child.
Farm Party – birthday fun for bigger kids (aged 4+)
Looking for a unique and fun-filled birthday experience? Look no further than our Farm Party at Dales Farm. Perfect for children aged 4 and up, this party combines animal encounters, outdoor play, and delicious food for an unforgettable day of farmyard fun.
- Bronze: £14.50 per child
- Silver: £17.00 per child

Free entry for one adult (aged 16+) per paying child to Dales Farm and Outdoor play area is included with two free adults included for the birthday child.
Pony Party – a galloping good time for kids aged between 4-16
Make your child’s birthday unforgettable with our Pony Party. Perfect for horse lovers, this unique experience offers hands-on pony time, riding, farm fun, and delicious party food – all wrapped into one exciting package.
- Bronze: £44.50 per child
- Silver: £47.00 per child

What’s included?
- Pony riding and handling: The adventure begins at 1.30pm in our riding school, where the birthday child and their friends can ride our gentle ponies. They'll also get the chance to groom, handle, and bond with these wonderful animals.

Who can join?
- Pony parties can be booked on Sundays only, subject to availability and are bookable for a minimum of 6 children and maximum of 8 children. Children must be between 4 and 16 years of age. Suitable clothes, appropriate to the weather should be worn including long trousers (no shorts or skirts) and a shoe or boot with a small heel.
Children’s party terms and conditions
Payment is required at the time of booking. Once we have received payment, we will confirm your booking via email. We will also send you a copy of these terms and conditions for your records, along with party invitations.
Cancellations
In the event that the party has to be cancelled:
- 1 month’s notice — full refund
- 2 week’s notice — 50% refund or an alternative date will be offered
- 1 week’s notice — no refund and an alternative date will be offered
- 48 hours and under — no refund or alternative date offered
The party organiser’s responsibilities
- If your guests want to bring extra siblings to the party who are not party guests, they will need to pay the full admission prices applicable.
- The party organiser should arrive five minutes before the start of your party booking to greet your guests.
- The party organiser should inform Ferring Country Centre of any food allergies so that we can discuss alternative options.
- It is compulsory for all parents and guardians to supervise their children at all times for the duration of their party.
- Ferring Country Centre cannot accept any responsibility for any accidents that occur due to unsupervised play.
- You are welcome to bring balloons. Unfortunately, no spray-foam, poppers, streamers, table confetti or pinatas are permitted.
- The party organiser will provide the birthday cake and candles (only normal candles are permitted) unless otherwise arranged with Ferring Country Centre.
- No outside food, drinks or snacks (except birthday cakes for your little guests), are to be brought into Ferring Country Centre under any circumstances, by either the party organiser or their guests.
- Rangers Café will be open during your party, should your guests wish to purchase any additional refreshments.
- No food or drink is to be taken into Dales Farm.
- Ferring country Centre will provide a multicoloured party tablecloth and coloured partyware. However, you may bring your own if you require a particular theme.
- Ferring Country Centre can provide party invitations, by email, if you require them.
Car park
Although we offer free parking, we cannot guarantee parking for all your guests at busy times. Please encourage your guests to car-share where possible.

Are there any age restrictions for the kids birthday parties
Our parties are designed for children from toddlers up to 16 years old. We offer different packages to suit all age groups. For a Piglet Party, children need to be under 107cm tall.
Can we bring our own food and decorations?
You’re welcome to bring decorations, but we ask that you avoid anything noisy or messy. Food is provided as part of our party packages, but you’re welcome to bring your own birthday cake.
Can you supply a birthday cake?
Absolutely! We can provide a birthday cake for an additional cost – just chat to us at the time of booking.
What safety measures are in place for the kids during the activities?
Safety is our top priority. All activities are fully supervised by trained staff, and we have appropriate safety measures in place for each area.
What’s the minimum and maximum number of children you can accommodate for a party?
This does depend on the party package:
Piglet Party – minimum 5 children / maximum 10 children
Farm Party – minimum 8 children / maximum 14 children
Pony Party – minimum 6 children / maximum 8 children
Do you cater for different dietary requirements and/or allergies?
Yes, we do. Please let us know any dietary requirements at the time of booking, and we’ll ensure everyone can enjoy the party tea safely.
