Volunteer Week

From 1st–7th June 2026, we will be celebrating Volunteers’ Week, an annual UK-wide campaign recognising the dedication, generosity and impact of volunteers across the country.

As part of our 40th anniversary year, this is a particularly meaningful moment for us. Throughout the week we will be shining a spotlight on the incredible individuals who give their time, skills and energy to support Ferring Country Centre and help us make a real difference in our community.

Our volunteers are a vital part of Ferring’s story. Whether they are supporting our services, helping at events, fundraising, or working behind the scenes, their commitment strengthens everything we do. Volunteers’ Week gives us the opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you for the role they play in carrying over 40 years of support into the future.

The week will also help raise awareness of the volunteering roles available at Ferring Country Centre and the many personal benefits volunteering can bring. We hope it will inspire others to get involved and become part of our welcoming and supportive community.
